The Magna Community Fund in Aurora, Ontario, is a significant initiative launched by Magna International in partnership with the Town of Aurora. Each year, the fund provides financial support to ten charitable organizations within York Region. In addition to monetary donations, these beneficiaries gain promotional opportunities at local events such as the Aurora Concerts in the Park and the annual Aurora Ribfest.
This partnership extends over four years and aims to enhance community engagement and support local charities. The initiative also contributes to the development of Aurora Town Square, slated to open in 2024, and focuses on revitalizing Aurora’s downtown core. Managed by Magna’s Neighborhood Network team, the fund ensures continued support for community-building activities, including free summer programming that attracts thousands of residents.
